The Avova Sperling Rehab is a special needs car seat designed to provide postural support for children with a variety of seating needs whilst maintaining the highest safety standards expected from car seats.
The seat comes as standard with various postural accessories, including lateral trunk supports, a pommel and head padding, to ensure your child is both comfortable and properly supported. The seat also comes as standard with a 5 point positioning harness which, unlike high-street car seats, does not need to be removed as your child grows. Please note, for users under 100cm tall, the 5 point harness must be used and for users over 100cm, it may still be used (see further down for additional fitting information). The 5 point positioning harness offers a multitude of benefits including enhanced safety protection by making it harder for children to slip, aiding postural support and reducing the potential for dangerous situations by helping prevent the child from simply taking off the seat belt and escaping the car seat. Further care has been taken to ensure your child’s safety with the inclusion of lateral energy absorbers which reduce forces in case of a side impact.
Plenty of optional accessories are available for the AVOVA Sperling such as a tilting plate, swivel base and footrest. Please note, your child’s height dictates which accessories can be fitted. The Avova Sperling offers an in-built tilt function of 10° which can be further increased to 12.5° / 15° / 17.5° / 20° when fitting the tilting base.

Fitting of the car seat seat to your car depends upon the height of the product user. For users with a body height of 76 cm - 100 cm, the 5-point harness, ISOFIX & Top Tether must be used. For users with a body height of 100 cm - 135 cm, the car's own 3-point belt (in front of the child) & ISOFIX must be used. You may use the 5 point harness for positioning. Please ensure you have read your user manual and understood the fitting instructions before using the car seat.
